On Saturday July 11th, 2004, a mini-bus of pilgrims left Cranford for Glastonbury. The Pilgrimage Mass was concelebrated with the Bishop of Richborough as the principal concelebrant. It rained a little, but that didn't dampen anyones spirits! After the Mass the hundreds of pilgrims enjoyed their picinic lunches, and many caught up with old friends, and made new ones. The afternoon saw the procession of witness through the town, bathed in sunshine, followed by Solemn Evensong and Benediction, presided over by the Bishop of Ebbsfleet. We all left renewed, strengthened, thankful - and looking forward to next year!

Our Bishop, +John Fulham, came to spend a day with us in the Parish and visited some of the schools as well as parishoners in their homes. After celebrating Mass in the evening we relaxed together with a BBQ.

On November 6th we made a Pilgrimage to Canterbury Cathedral. A coach full of pilgrims left Cranford looking forward to our day. After Mass in the Jesus Chapel of the Cathedral, we split into three groups and were given guided tours of the Cathedral. Being spiritually revived, it was time to revive ourselves in other ways, and so off into Canterbury for lunch and shopping before heading back.
